- Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 3 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 100 milliliters
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
Steps
- Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken strips and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and sliced carrot to the skillet, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water. Pour this sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring well to combine.
