- beef sirloin - 300 grams
- olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- paprika - 1 teaspoon

- black pepper - ½ teaspoon
- pita bread - 2 pieces
- cucumber - 1 small, diced
- tomato - 1 medium, diced
- red onion - ½ medium, thinly sliced
- fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- yogurt - 100 grams
- lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Cut the beef sirloin into 2.5 cm cubes and add it to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing yogurt, lemon juice, and chili sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.
- After marinating, thread the beef cubes onto skewers, making sure to leave space between each piece.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- While the kebabs are cooking, warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until slightly toasted.
- Once the beef is ready, remove it from the skewers and place it in the center of each pita.
- Top the beef with diced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and chopped parsley.
- Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the top, fold the pita over the filling, and serve immediately.
