- Beef broth - 2 cups (480 ml)
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and ground halal beef to the skillet, cooking until the beef is browned, around 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the tomato paste, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
- Add the rice to the skillet, stirring to coat it with the beef mixture.
- Pour in the beef broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Once simmering, remove from heat.
