- Broccoli florets - 200 grams
- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 3 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds (optional) - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine sliced halal beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
- In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan, and add oyster sauce and water. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
