- Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Broccoli florets - 200 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the broccoli by blanching it in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the blanched broccoli and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet with the broccoli, add 100 ml of water, and stir well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and season with black pepper to taste before serving.
