- BBQ sauce - 100 grams
Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C or 400°F).
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a rub.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork belly, ensuring that all sides are coated.
- In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, honey, and BBQ sauce to create a glaze.
- Place the pork belly on the grill, fat side up, and cook for about 1 hour, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- After 1 hour, brush the glaze over the pork belly and continue grilling for an additional 30 minutes, basting with the glaze every 10 minutes.
- Once the internal temperature of the pork belly reaches 70°C (160°F), remove it from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
