  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • BBQ sauce - 100 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C or 400°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a rub.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork belly, ensuring that all sides are coated.
  4. In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, honey, and BBQ sauce to create a glaze.
  5. Place the pork belly on the grill, fat side up, and cook for about 1 hour, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  6. After 1 hour, brush the glaze over the pork belly and continue grilling for an additional 30 minutes, basting with the glaze every 10 minutes.
  7. Once the internal temperature of the pork belly reaches 70°C (160°F), remove it from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve the sliced pork belly with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
