Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (e.g., tilapia or cod) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
  • Red cabbage, thinly sliced - 1 cup
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped - 1/4 cup
  • Avocado, sliced - 1 medium
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt - 1/4 cup
  • Lime wedges - 2 pieces

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they're well coated. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the marinated fish for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the fish is grilling, warm the corn tortillas on a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Once the fish is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing it into smaller pieces.
  7. To assemble the tacos, place a few pieces of grilled fish on each tortilla, top with red cabbage, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
  8. Drizzle sour cream or Greek yogurt on top and serve with lime wedges on the side.
