Ingredients

  • Cream cheese - 200 grams
  • Sugar - 50 grams
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Gulab Jamun (prepared) - 2 pieces, chopped
  • Graham cracker crumbs - 50 grams
  • Butter (melted) - 30 grams
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Rose water - 1 teaspoon
  • Gelatin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the gelatin in 2 tablespoons of warm water and set aside to bloom for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar, and beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the heavy cream, cardamom powder, and rose water to the cream cheese mixture, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped Gulab Jamun pieces into the mixture.
  5. Microwave the bloomed gelatin for about 10 seconds to dissolve it, then add it to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
  6. In another bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, and mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  7. Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of two small serving glasses or ramekins to form the crust.
  8. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in each glass and smooth the top.
  9. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
  10. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with extra Gulab Jamun syrup or crushed nuts.
