- Cream cheese - 200 grams
- Sugar - 50 grams
- Heavy cream - 100 ml
- Gulab Jamun (prepared) - 2 pieces, chopped
- Graham cracker crumbs - 50 grams
- Butter (melted) - 30 grams
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Rose water - 1 teaspoon
- Gelatin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a small bowl, dissolve the gelatin in 2 tablespoons of warm water and set aside to bloom for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar, and beat until smooth and creamy.
- Add the heavy cream, cardamom powder, and rose water to the cream cheese mixture, and mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped Gulab Jamun pieces into the mixture.
- Microwave the bloomed gelatin for about 10 seconds to dissolve it, then add it to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, and mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
- Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of two small serving glasses or ramekins to form the crust.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in each glass and smooth the top.
- Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Serve chilled, optionally garnished with extra Gulab Jamun syrup or crushed nuts.
