- Ground turkey - 400 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
- Pickles - 4 slices
- Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Ketchup - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2 cm thick.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush the grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the turkey patties on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- While the patties are grilling, toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the grilled turkey patty, tomato slices, pickles, mustard, and ketchup. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your grilled turkey burgers!
