Ingredients

  • Ground turkey - 400 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Whole wheat burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
  • Pickles - 4 slices
  • Mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Ketchup - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush the grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Place the turkey patties on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
  5. While the patties are grilling, toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the grilled turkey patty, tomato slices, pickles, mustard, and ketchup. Top with the other half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your grilled turkey burgers!
