Ingredients

  • Swordfish steaks - 2 (approximately 200g each)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the swordfish steaks in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove the swordfish from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the steaks on the grill.
  5. Grill the swordfish for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 63°C (145°F).
  6. Remove the swordfish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
