- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the swordfish steaks in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove the swordfish from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the steaks on the grill.
- Grill the swordfish for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 63°C (145°F).
- Remove the swordfish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
