Ingredients

  • Salmon fillet - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Mixed salad greens - 100 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, black pepper, and honey to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it's evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Once the grill is hot, place the salmon fillet skin-side down and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the salmon is grilling, prepare the salad by combining mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in a bowl.
  6. Serve the grilled salmon on a plate alongside the fresh salad.
