Ingredients
- Mahi Mahi fillets - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Corn tortillas - 4 small
- Cabbage (finely shredded) - 1 cup
- Carrot (grated) - 1/2 medium
- Fresh cilantro (chopped) - 1/4 cup
- Additional lime wedges - for serving
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt - for topping (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Coat the mahi mahi fillets with the marinade and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, prepare the slaw by combining shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped cilantro in a separate bowl. Squeeze in some lime juice and mix well.
- Grill the mahi mahi fillets for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
- Once the fish is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a minute before flaking it into bite-sized pieces.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the grilled mahi mahi on each tortilla, topping with the cilantro slaw, and adding a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt if desired.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side for extra flavor.
