  • 1 tsp ground cumin - 5g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • 1 medium tomato - diced
  • 1/4 red onion - finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper - seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro - chopped
  • 1 lime - juiced
  • 1 ripe avocado - sliced

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and coat well. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the salsa by mixing diced tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl. Set aside.
