Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts - 2 (about 300g each)
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
