Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell peppers (red and green) - 1 cup, chopped
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
  • Wooden skewers - 4

Steps

  1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for about 15 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. While the chicken is marinating, chop the bell peppers and slice the zucchini.
  6. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Once marinated, thread the chicken cubes, bell peppers, and zucchini onto the soaked skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
  8. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
  9. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
