Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 250 grams
  • Romaine lettuce - 150 grams
  • Caesar dressing - 60 ml
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Whole grain croutons - 30 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15 ml)

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Coat the chicken breast with this mixture.
  3. Grill the chicken breast for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. While the chicken is resting, wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large bowl.
  5. Add the Caesar dressing to the lettuce and toss until well coated.
  6. Plate the dressed lettuce, then top with sliced grilled chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons.
