Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 250 grams
- Romaine lettuce - 150 grams
- Caesar dressing - 60 ml
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Whole grain croutons - 30 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
Steps
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Coat the chicken breast with this mixture.
- Grill the chicken breast for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- While the chicken is resting, wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large bowl.
- Add the Caesar dressing to the lettuce and toss until well coated.
- Plate the dressed lettuce, then top with sliced grilled chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons.
