Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 2 pieces (about 200g each)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is well coated, then seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the marinade.
  5. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
