- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Trim the ends of the green beans and rinse them under cold water.
- In a pot, bring salted water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Drain the green beans and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced almonds. Toast the almonds for about 2-3 minutes until they are golden brown, stirring frequently.
