- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Red onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley - 30 grams, chopped
- Fresh mint - 15 grams, chopped
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Tzatziki sauce - 100 grams
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped red onion, parsley, mint, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the lamb mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, warm the pita bread in a separate pan or microwave until slightly toasted.
