- Goose breast - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Dijon mustard - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat a grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine the goose breast, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the meat evenly.
- Once the grill or skillet is hot, place the seasoned goose breast on it and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
- Remove the goose breast from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.
- To assemble the burgers, place two large romaine lettuce leaves on a plate as the base.
- Top each lettuce leaf with sliced goose meat, followed by tomato slices, red onion, and avocado.
- Drizzle Dijon mustard over the top, then finish with another layer of romaine lettuce to create a 'bun'.
