Ingredients

  • Gluten-free jumbo pasta shells - 10 shells
  • Ricotta cheese - 200 grams
  • Fresh spinach - 100 grams, chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese - 30 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Marinara sauce - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the gluten-free jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the ricotta and spinach mixture and place them in the baking dish, open side up.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the dish and cover it with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
