- Gluten-free jumbo pasta shells - 10 shells
- Ricotta cheese - 200 grams
- Fresh spinach - 100 grams, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese - 30 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Marinara sauce - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh basil - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the gluten-free jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the ricotta and spinach mixture and place them in the baking dish, open side up.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Drizzle olive oil over the dish and cover it with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
