  • Egg - 1 large
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Fresh basil leaves - a handful
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Toppings of choice (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.) - as desired

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Wash and chop the cauliflower into florets, then steam or microwave until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Once cooled, place the cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
  4. In a bowl, mix the riced cauliflower with egg, mozzarella cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt until well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a round pizza crust about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven and spread tomato sauce evenly on top.
  8. Add desired toppings and sprinkle with additional mozzarella cheese.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with fresh basil before slicing and serving.
