Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Gluten-free breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Onion, finely chopped - 50 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Milk - 60 ml
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Mix until just combined.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Spread the ketchup evenly on top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  6. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
