Ingredients
- Gluten-free lasagna noodles - 6 sheets
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Onion, diced - 1 small
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Marinara sauce - 400 grams
- Ricotta cheese - 250 grams
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 150 grams
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place 2-3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Top with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers: meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese. Finish with a final layer of meat sauce and top with remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the lasagna cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
