- Red wine - 100 milliliters (optional)
- Gluten-free pasta - 200 grams
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery, and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high, then add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- If using, pour in the red wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until reduced slightly.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the sauce simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- While the sauce simmers, cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and serve topped with the Bolognese sauce, garnished with fresh parsley.
