- Spaghetti - 200 grams
- Unsalted butter - 60 grams
- Garlic (minced) - 4 cloves
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant and lightly golden, being careful not to burn it.
- Once the pasta is done, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.

- If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Season with salt and black pepper, then stir in the chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
