Ingredients

  • Frog legs - 500 grams
  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Coconut oil - 1/2 cup (for frying)
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon wedges - for serving

Steps

  1. Rinse the frog legs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine the almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Dip each frog leg into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then dredge in the almond flour mixture until fully coated.
  5. In a large skillet, heat the coconut oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  6. Carefully add the coated frog legs to the skillet in a single layer, frying for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the frog legs to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
