Ingredients
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Brioche burger buns - 2
- Cheddar cheese - 2 slices
- Eggs - 2
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
- Mustard - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Shape the mixture into 2 equal patties.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the brioche buns in a separate skillet until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and heat over medium heat. Crack an egg into the skillet and fry until the white is set and the yolk is still runny, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the burgers: Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each toasted bun, add the cheesy beef patty, top with a slice of tomato, and carefully place the fried egg on top.
- Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the bun, then close the burger.
