  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams

  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish) - a handful

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated fish pieces onto skewers, leaving some space between each piece.
  5. Grill the fish skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the fish is cooked through and has a nice char.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.
