Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 small (about 15 cm diameter)
  • Red cabbage - 1 cup, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Avocado - 1 small, sliced
  • Radishes - 4, thinly sliced
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons (optional)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the white fish fillets to the marinade and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. While the fish is marinating, prepare the cabbage slaw by mixing the sliced red cabbage, chopped cilantro, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated fish for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing pieces of cooked fish on each tortilla, topping with the cabbage slaw, avocado slices, and radish slices.
  7. Add a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt if desired, and serve immediately.
