Ingredients
- Shrimp - 300 grams, peeled and deveined
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
- Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons (for serving)
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced (for serving)
Steps
- In a food processor, add the peeled and deveined shrimp, and pulse until coarsely minced.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the minced shrimp, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 2 patties of equal size.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil. Once hot, add the shrimp patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the serving plates with lettuce leaves and sliced avocado.
