- Ground beef - 400 grams
- Salt - 1 teaspoon

- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cheddar cheese - 60 grams, shredded
- Jalapeños - 40 grams, sliced
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Sugar-free BBQ sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until evenly combined.
- Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, add shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each cheesy patty on top of a large lettuce leaf. Top with sliced jalapeños and avocado, and drizzle with sugar-free BBQ sauce.
