Ingredients

  • Whole milk - 240 ml
  • Chocolate syrup - 60 ml
  • Seltzer water or club soda - 240 ml
  • Egg white - 1 large
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • Ice cubes - as needed

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg white and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.
  2. In two tall glasses, add 30 ml of chocolate syrup to each glass.
  3. Pour 120 ml of whole milk into each glass over the chocolate syrup.
  4. Gently spoon the whipped egg white mixture on top of the milk in each glass.
  5. Slowly pour 120 ml of seltzer water or club soda into each glass to create a fizzy layer on top.
  6. Stir gently to combine the layers slightly, then add ice cubes if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw or a long spoon.
