  • Grits - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of grits and reduce heat to low, cooking for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in coconut milk, olive oil, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
