- Tomato sauce - 200 grams
- Vegetable broth - 240 ml
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon

- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Dairy-free cheese shreds (optional) - 50 grams
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef or turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced bell pepper, canned diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, vegetable broth, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
- Combine the cooked macaroni with the meat and sauce mixture, stirring until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and, if desired, sprinkle dairy-free cheese shreds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
