- Eggs - 4 large
- Heavy cream - 120 ml
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 100 g
- Spinach, fresh - 50 g
- Cooked bacon, chopped - 50 g
- Onion, finely chopped - 1/4 medium
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Olive oil - 1 tsp
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Stir in the sautéed spinach, cooked bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish or baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
