- Breadcrumbs - 1 cup (100g)
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup (25g), grated
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and cut the zucchini into thin strips, about 1 cm wide.
- In a shallow bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In a second bowl, beat the egg. In a third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat each zucchini strip in flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten egg, and finally roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
- Place the coated zucchini fries on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
