Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers - 20 pieces
  • Carrot - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Cabbage - 50 grams, finely shredded
  • Bell pepper - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped carrot, cabbage, bell pepper, green onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the vegetable mixture in the center.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the wontons in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the wontons and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
