  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. Prepare the vegetables by cutting the zucchini, carrot, and red bell pepper into thin strips, and separating the broccoli into small florets.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Gradually add ice water to the dry ingredients, whisking until the batter is smooth and slightly thick.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  5. Dip each vegetable piece into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then carefully place them in the hot oil.
