Steps
- Press the firm tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess water. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, combine cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Gently toss the tofu cubes in the cornstarch mixture until evenly coated.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated tofu cubes in a single layer.
- Fry the tofu for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy, turning carefully to avoid breaking the cubes.
