Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 250 grams
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Red bell pepper, sliced - 1 medium
  • Carrot, julienned - 1 medium
  • Snow peas - 50 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 stalks
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the broccoli, red bell pepper, carrot, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return the crispy tofu to the skillet, then pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
