Steps
- Wash and slice the fresh okra into 1/2 inch thick rounds.
- In a bowl, combine rice flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg and buttermilk together until well combined.
- Dip each okra slice into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the flour mixture.
