  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken thighs and ensure they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. This will be the dredging mixture.
