Ingredients
- White fish fillets (e.g., cod or tilapia) - 250 grams
- Almond flour - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 1 large
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Avocado - 1 medium
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Radishes - 4, thinly sliced
- Red onion - 1/4 small, thinly sliced
Steps
- In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg. In another bowl, combine the almond flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each fish fillet into the egg, then coat with the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the coated fish and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the fish is cooking, prepare the avocado crema by blending the avocado, lime juice, and half of the cilantro in a small bowl until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
- Once the fish is done, assemble the tacos by placing a piece of fish onto a lettuce leaf. Top with avocado crema, radish slices, red onion, and the remaining cilantro.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy fish tacos!
