- whole wheat flour - 50 grams
- panko breadcrumbs - 100 grams
- egg - 1 large
- milk - 30 ml
- paprika - 1 teaspoon
- garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- olive oil - 30 ml
- lemon juice - 15 ml
- fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until smooth.
- Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
- Dip each fish fillet first into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Arrange the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- While the fish is baking, prepare the lemon-dill sauce by mixing the lemon juice and chopped dill in a small bowl.
- Once the fish is done, serve hot with the lemon-dill sauce drizzled on top.
