- All-purpose flour - 1/2 cup (60g)
- Cornstarch - 1/4 cup (30g)
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 3/4 cup (180ml)
- Buffalo sauce - 1/2 cup (120ml)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Fresh parsley - for garnish (optional)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, whisking until a smooth batter forms.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then place them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake the cauliflower wings in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and olive oil in a bowl.
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce mixture until well coated.
- Return the coated cauliflower wings to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
