- salt - 3 grams (1/2 teaspoon)
- black pepper - 1 gram (1/4 teaspoon)
- garlic powder - 1 gram (1/4 teaspoon)
- cheddar cheese, shredded - 60 grams (1/2 cup)
- green onions, chopped - 15 grams (2 tablespoons)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until it forms a roux.
- Gradually add the heavy cream while whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
- Add sugar, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to the mixture, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
