Steps

  1. Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or damaged berries.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, water, and honey over medium heat.
  3. Stir the mixture gently and bring it to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the cranberries start to burst.
  4. Add the orange zest, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir well and continue to simmer for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
