Ingredients

  • Ginger - 1/2 teaspoon, grated
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Walnuts - 30 grams, chopped (optional)

Steps

  1. Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or bad berries.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange juice, honey, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, grated ginger, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries start to pop and soften, about 10 minutes.
  4. Once the cranberries have burst and the mixture has thickened slightly, remove from heat.
  5. If using, stir in the chopped walnuts for added texture and flavor.
