- breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
- green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- egg - 1 large
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- olive oil - 2 tablespoons for frying
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, green onion, parsley, egg, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Gently mix the ingredients until well combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties (about 100 grams each).
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce, such as tartar sauce or a squeeze of lemon.
